Booker Group

About Us
In Booker we serve c.1 million customers across the UK through our national network of distribution centres, cash and carry branches and Best Food Logistics sites, with customers collecting their products from their local Branch or receiving deliveries to their business.

We operate over 190 cash and carry branches, nine distribution centres, five Best Food Logistics sites, as well as six support centre locations across the UK.

Our business is incredibly diverse, so it takes a wide range of skills to deliver the exceptional service our customers require. Wherever you join us, you’ll be part of an organisation that will help your career to keep moving forward.

DE&I
Everyone’s Welcome
Our inclusive recruiting environment considers how our differences can work together to achieve a common goal. By creating a diverse workforce, our teams are pushed to think outside their comfort zone and challenge new thoughts or ideas.

We know the answer lies in our difference! Having colleagues from wide ranging backgrounds, cultures and experiences enables a culture of differing views, ideas and perspectives.

When we recruit diverse teams and ensure everyone feels welcome, we ultimately create teams which are fully engaged, provide greater creativity and as a result perform at their best.

Sustainability
We’ve built sustainability into our purpose, strategy and business plans. We know that our business depends on the world around us. And as the UK’s largest wholesaler, we know we can make a difference.

Booker’s Planet Plan is focused around ‘A better trolley for a better planet’.

The guiding ‘North Star’ of our strategy is to deliver net zero across our supply chain by 2050, with net carbon neutral target for own operations being 2035. All roles and functions within the Booker business have a role to play in delivering the planet plan.

Across all Booker sites for the financial year 2022/23 we donated over 5 million meals. During 2022 the Booker food redistributed supported 579 Fareshare charities and communities and fed 15,708 families via Olio Food Waste Heroes.
